PANORAMIC TOMOGRAPHY

It is a 3D X-ray film that allows the jaws, all teeth, and many disorders in the jaw and teeth to be seen in a single film. The doctor must see it before any operations or implants related to the jaw and teeth. Because this film shows the area to be treated in a wide way and increases the success of the operation.

The panoramic tomography device in our center is a “Genoray” brand digital device. The quality of the panoramic x-ray is determined by whether the device is digital or not, the patient’s compliance, the experience of the technician taking the film, and the patient’s body structure. The quality images we obtain satisfy our patients and the physician colleagues we work with. There is no procedure performed by the patient or applied to the patient other than complying with the position given to the patient and not moving during the scan.

With this film, it is possible to detect which tooth the abscess in the mouth originates from, structural deformities in the teeth, root fractures, cysts or tumors, as well as to observe the interface caries overlooked during the examination, bone measurements of the edentulous areas where implants are considered, and the relationships of anatomical formations with these areas.
